Who we are and what this covers
Airport Transfer UAE is a Dubai-based airport transfer and chauffeur service working across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. This policy covers airporttransferuae.com and the bookings you make with us by WhatsApp or phone on +971 58 181 0789.
It’s short because we collect little: there’s no account, login or payment form on this site.
What personal data we receive
Almost everything we know about you comes from what you send us on WhatsApp or tell us on the phone. To quote and run a transfer we usually need:
- your name and phone number, plus whatever your WhatsApp profile shows, such as your profile name
- pickup and drop-off addresses, with the date and time
- your flight number, so we can track the landing
- the number of passengers and bags, and details such as a child’s age when you ask for a child seat
- anything else you choose to add, like the name a hotel booking is under or a note for the driver
Please don’t send passport copies, card numbers or documents we haven’t asked for. We don’t need them to drive you to your hotel.
The quote form opens WhatsApp
The quote form on our pages and on the booking page doesn’t send anything to a server of ours, and we don’t store what you type into it. When you press “Send on WhatsApp”, your browser builds a message from the fields you filled in and opens WhatsApp with it ready to go. Nothing reaches us until you press send inside WhatsApp.
From that point the message travels through WhatsApp, a service run by Meta. WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy govern how it handles your messages, and we have no control over that.
How we use your details
We use your booking details to give you a fixed fare, assign the car, track your flight, send the driver to the right door at the right time and reach you on the day if something changes. We also keep a record of each trip for our accounts and to answer any question about a fare later.
We don’t sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
Who we share it with
Your assigned driver gets what the job needs: your name for the name board, your phone number, the flight number and the pickup and drop-off details. Nothing more.
We may also disclose data when UAE law requires it, for example in reply to a lawful request from the police or another authority. Google receives analytics data from the site (see below), and Meta carries WhatsApp messages.
Google Analytics 4 and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use it: which pages they visit, approximate location, device and browser, how they found us, and when someone taps a call or WhatsApp button or sends the quote form. For the form, Analytics records the trip type, vehicle choice and passenger count you picked. It does not receive your name, phone number, addresses or flight number.
GA4 sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which Google says last two years by default. Google also states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site and the WhatsApp buttons work fine without them.
The service that hosts this site may also keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and the page requested, for security.
How long we keep booking messages
We keep booking messages and trip records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete them. Your own copy of the chat stays on your phone, under your control.
Your rights under UAE law
The UAE’s federal data protection law is Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 Regarding the Protection of Personal Data, in force since 2 January 2022 (official summary on u.ae). Under it you can ask us to correct inaccurate personal data, and to restrict or stop processing it.
We’ll also tell you what we hold about you, and delete it where we’re not required to keep it. Send the request on WhatsApp or call us. We may ask you to confirm a detail of the booking first, so nobody can pull your trip details by pretending to be you.
Children
We don’t knowingly collect data from children. When a parent or guardian books, a child’s name or age may be part of the passenger details, and we use it only for that trip, for example to bring the right seat.
Changes and contact
If the way we handle data changes, we’ll update this page and the date on it. Questions go to the same place as bookings, WhatsApp or a call on +971 58 181 0789, and our contact page lists both. Our booking terms cover fares, waiting time and cancellations.
