Who books a Bentley Flying Spur with driver
It suits couples who want a luxury wedding car but find a Rolls-Royce too formal, and business owners taking clients to dinner. Younger VIP guests who’d rather arrive in something sporting like it too. On a wedding day the Flying Spur also pairs well with a Rolls-Royce: one car for the bride, one for the groom.
It sits in our ultra-luxury class of cars beside three Rolls-Royce models, and it is the least formal of the four.
The rear seat
Bentley sells the Flying Spur with four or five seats. The five-seat car has a folding centre armrest and a centre headrest that stows away. The four-seat version has two separate rear seats with a console between them. Bentley lists heating, ventilation and multi-mode massage for the Flying Spur’s seats, and the rear centre vents carry wireless charging and two USB sockets. A Wi-Fi hotspot takes up to eight devices, which helps when a whole family is sending photos from the back.
One detail matters for chauffeur use. An adaptive valve in the exhaust keeps the engine note discreet in the cabin for chauffeur-driven occupants (Bentley newsroom). It is a fast car, but nobody books it with a chauffeur to go fast.
The rear doors are conventional, hinged at the front. Fine for most passengers. A bride with a long train will find the rear-hinged doors of a Rolls-Royce easier.
Passengers and luggage
Three passengers and two large suitcases, plus a couple of cabin bags. Three adults need the five-seat car. With the four-seat layout it takes two, in more comfort. We confirm the layout before you book.
Bentley chauffeur pickups from Al Maktoum and DXB
Al Maktoum International (DWC) is at Jebel Ali, a long way south-west of the beach hotels. From the DWC terminal to Atlantis The Palm is about 45 km, usually around 43 minutes without heavy traffic, and Dubai Marina is about 38 km. That is long enough to want a good rear seat after a flight. See our Al Maktoum airport transfer page for the terminal and pickup details.
At either Dubai airport the chauffeur tracks your flight, waits in arrivals with a name board and gives you 60 minutes free from landing.

What to tell the chauffeur for an evening booking
Give us the venue and the exact entrance, the time you need to arrive, and whether the chauffeur should wait nearby or come back at a set time. Add a contact number for the host if it is a group. For weddings, our wedding car hire page explains how we plan the day, and the limousine service covers longer VIP bookings.
