Mercedes S-Class with driver in Dubai

A Mercedes S-Class with driver in Dubai is the luxury sedan most VIP guests ask for by name, used for airport meet and greet, executive travel and evening events across the UAE. It seats up to three passengers in the rear with two large suitcases, and every booking has a fixed fare agreed in advance on WhatsApp.

The S-Class is the car people mean when they say “send a proper car”. Hotel concierges ask for it by name, and so do guests who have never thought about cars in their lives. In our luxury class it’s the default unless someone asks for something else.

Who books a Mercedes S-Class with driver

The bookings run from executives arriving for board meetings to families collecting a parent off a long-haul flight. Event organisers use it to move a speaker between a hotel and a stage, and couples book it for an anniversary dinner. Plenty of VIP limousine bookings end up in an S-Class too, since “limousine” in the UAE usually just means a long black saloon.

Inside the rear: what an S-Class can have

S-Class cars vary a lot by specification, so it pays to know what to ask for. Mercedes builds the current car in standard and long-wheelbase form, and the long version is the one a VIP should request. For the update revealed in January 2026, Mercedes lists rear options such as:

  • a full-length centre console with a refrigerated compartment and temperature-controlled cupholders
  • folding tables and two detachable remote controls for climate, window shades and entertainment
  • dual 13.1-inch rear screens with HD cameras for Teams or Zoom calls
  • Burmester 3D or 4D sound, plus rear beltbags and rear airbags

The four-seat “First-Class rear compartment” comes only on the long wheelbase (Mercedes-Benz media). Most S-Class cars on UAE roads today are the pre-update version, which already offered many of these comforts. If one feature matters, say rear screens for a child or a reclining seat after a night flight, tell us when you book and we’ll confirm it on the car.

S-Class luggage

Two large check-in suitcases and two cabin bags. The petrol S 500’s boot is quoted at about 530 litres, but plug-in hybrid versions drop to around 345 litres, which is a real difference once the cases are on the trolley. If a VIP travels with a full set of luggage, a GMC Yukon Denali carries it more easily.

Meet and greet, and the routes it suits

Most S-Class airport jobs are meet and greet pickups at DXB. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board and walks you to the car. We track the flight, so a late landing doesn’t leave anyone stranded, and the first 60 minutes of waiting are free.

For guests landing at Zayed International, the Abu Dhabi airport to Dubai run takes well over an hour on the E11. That’s the trip the S-Class rear seat was designed for.

S-Class vs BMW 7 Series vs Maybach

Large suitcases 2 2 2

The BMW 7 Series is the alternative for clients who’d rather not ride in a Mercedes. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is a step up again, with a longer wheelbase given entirely to the rear seats.

Booking tips

Ask for the long wheelbase. Give us the guest’s name as it should read on the board. For a wedding car, send the venue, the pickup points and the photo stops in one message so the timings are planned before the day.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class: questions

Is the S-Class you send a long-wheelbase model?

Mercedes builds the S-Class in standard and long-wheelbase form, and the long version gives the rear passengers noticeably more legroom. If the passenger is tall or the drive is long, ask for the long wheelbase when you book and we'll confirm the car before the trip.

Can I book a Mercedes S-Class as a wedding car?

Yes. The S-Class is a popular choice for the bride and groom, the parents or guests of honour. Send us the venue, the pickup points and any photo stops, plus the timings, and we reply with a fixed fare for the day. Book early in the wedding season.

How many passengers fit in an S-Class with a driver?

Three in the rear, with two large suitcases. For VIP travel we'd treat it as a two-person car, so each guest gets a window seat and the centre armrest down. A family of four or a group with more luggage should look at the GMC Yukon Denali or the Mercedes V-Class.

Does the S-Class have rear screens and a fridge?

Some do. Rear entertainment screens, a refrigerated compartment and massage seats are options on the S-Class, so they depend on how each car was specified. If one of them matters, tell us when you book and we'll confirm whether the car assigned to you has it.

Can I book an S-Class for an Abu Dhabi airport pickup?

Yes. We meet flights at Zayed International in Abu Dhabi, as well as at Dubai, Al Maktoum, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The driver tracks your flight, waits in arrivals with a name board and gives you 60 minutes of free waiting.

Should I book the S-Class or the Maybach?

For most VIP arrivals the S-Class is enough. The Maybach adds a longer wheelbase given entirely to the rear seats, with reclining Executive seats and a leg rest, and it seats two in real comfort. Book it for a head of delegation, a wedding couple or a guest you want to spoil.
