If you’re six people with a big case each, book the Suburban. Every Suburban is the long body. There’s no short one to end up with by mistake, which is the main reason it sits in the SUV section of our fleet next to its more expensive-looking relatives.
Why book a Chevrolet Suburban with driver
The current Suburban rides on a 3,406 mm wheelbase and is about 5.7 metres long. Chevrolet Middle East launched the 2025 version in Riyadh in January 2025 with 5.3 and 6.2 litre V8 engines. What the length buys you is a boot that still takes about five large cases with all six passengers seated.

What the back seats are actually like
The surprise is the third row. GM moved to independent rear suspension on this generation, which lowered the floor, and the third row gained about 5.6 cm of legroom over the last Suburban. Adults can sit back there on a cross-town run without folding into it.
The second row is where you want to be, though, with wide seats and the easiest way in from the side doors. The step up is tall, so ask the driver for a hand if you need one.
Cruise ships, long stays and corporate convoys
Cruise passengers are the obvious fit. You walk off the ship with a week of luggage, and the Suburban takes it without a second car. Our cruise terminal transfers cover Port Rashid, Dubai Harbour and Abu Dhabi.
Families flying into Zayed International for a long stay also do well with it. The Abu Dhabi airport to Dubai run is long enough that a big boot and a third row with real legroom make a difference.
